Types of Commercial Roofing:
- Metal Roofing
- Asphalt Shingles
- Tile Roofing
- TPO Roofing
- EPDM Roofing
We perform asphalt shingle roof repair and replacement services on every type of business, from boutique storefronts to apartment complexes. Shingles are one of the most popular roofing materials for sloped roofing systems because they are cost-effective and versatile. There are even shingle styles available that come with advanced wind protection, hail resistance and 50-year performance life guarantees. Asphalt shingles are available for as little as $250.00 per square (a 10x10 area). New shingles can often be applied directly over top of an existing commercial roofing system. Asphalt shingles come in such a wide array of colors and styles that you are sure to find a system that will complement and enhance the appearance of your property, regardless of its architectural style.
Our company works with all types of tile commercial roofing, from natural slate to concrete. Tile installations are durable and long-wearing. In fact, some of the clay and concrete products that we offer come with guarantees that range between 50 and 75 years. Clay and concrete tiles are completely recyclable. They are perfect insulators and provide thermal protection against the heat as well as the cold. Tile roofs are fire resistant and will often qualify their owners for insurance discounts.
Thermoplastic polyethylene – or TPO – commercial roofing is one of the most eco-friendly and durable materials available for low-slope commercial and industrial properties. TPO, which is also known as single-ply roofing, is applied in overlapping sheets, in widths that range from 8 to 12 feet. Then the seams, where the materials overlap, are heat-welded to create a monolithic sheet of thermoplastic protection. Our company works specifically with MuleHide and GenFlex TPO systems because of their quality and performance. TPO is wind, hail and puncture resistant. It is highly reflective, which helps increase energy efficiency. TPO is compliant with LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) standards and is completely recyclable. It also meets Energy Star guidelines.
Ethylene propylene diene monomer – or EPDM – is a synthetic rubber that is produced in colossal sheets that are often able to cover the rooftop of a small commercial property with a single, seamless piece. EPDM is an ideal material for commercial roofing because it can last anywhere between 40 and 50 years or more with proper maintenance. And the material can be recycled and manufactured into other roofing products and accessories at the end of its performance life. EPDM offers unmatchable resistance to UV exposure and ozone gases, as well as extreme temperatures. The material requires very little maintenance, once it is applied. EPDM is incredibly flexible and can elongate up to 300% in response to building movements.
Metal commercial roofing systems are ideal for businesses in Central Indiana because they are durable enough to withstand the fluctuating temperatures and weather conditions of our climate. Metal systems are highly reflective and release daytime heat quickly, once the sun goes down. Steel and aluminum are two of the most popular metals in use, and they are guaranteed to last for a minimum of 30 years. Metal roofs are produced using a high percentage of recycled materials, and they are also completely recyclable, when it’s time for them to be replaced. They can help reduce annual heating and cooling expenses by up to 40%. Metal roof are virtually maintenance free and can be easily restored with coatings, when and if they fall into disrepair.
Our company performs commercial roofing services in Indianapolis, Greenwood and Carmel. We are recognized as one of the leading names in the roofing industry of Central Indiana, with certifications from some of the most prominent manufacturers of roofing materials: GAF, MuleHide and GenFlex.
